We are in the process of consulting on admissions arrangements for students applying for places for the academic year beginning September 2026. The consultation will run for 6 weeks from 6th December 2024 to 20th January 2025.
The proposed change changes the oversubscription criteria to change the priority order of those children applying out of catchment where a sibling will be attending Springbank Academy on the date of admission. The Schools Admission Code requires all admissions authorities to consult on any changes proposed to their admissions arrangements. We have also updated the definition for Looked After and Previously Looked After children in line with he School Admissions Code.
